On June 22, the launch ceremony for the “BioAlly Award” of the Teaching Animal Hospital of Nanjing Agricultural University was held at the hospital. Attending the ceremony were Jiang Yan, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College of Veterinary Medicine at Nanjing Agricultural University; Liu Jiaguo, Director of the Department of Clinical Medicine at the College of Veterinary Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Nanjing Agricultural University Animal Hospital Co., Ltd.; Zhao Yanbing, Director of the Teaching Animal Hospital; Liu Yongwang, Deputy Director of the Teaching Animal Hospital; Deng Yifeng, Deputy Director of the Teaching Animal Hospital; You Feng, Administrative Director of the Teaching Animal Hospital; and Wang Hongwei, Chairman of Taizhou BioAlly Biotechnology Co., Ltd. The ceremony was presided over by Liu Yongwang, Deputy Director of the Teaching Animal Hospital.

Secretary Jiang Yan stated: “We warmly welcome President Wang and his delegation to the Teaching Animal Hospital of Nanjing Agricultural University. Our hospital boasts a history of more than 100 years and has undertaken numerous distinctive initiatives in talent development, education, scientific research, community service, and international cooperation. This is the first time that our university and an enterprise have jointly established an award specifically for outstanding clinical faculty and veterinarians at the hospital, which lends even greater practical value to our collaboration and represents a truly commendable initiative. When I first entered the veterinary profession after graduation, conditions on all fronts were still quite rudimentary; today, however, the industry is thriving, driven by economic improvement, demographic shifts, and changing family structures that are all propelling the growth of the pet industry. Pet veterinarians play a pivotal role in providing evidence-based guidance on pet health management and medication selection, making them an indispensable link in the chain. Enhanced interaction between veterinarians and leading companies in the industry will further bolster its development. We are deeply grateful for BioAlly’s support and look forward to opportunities to visit and exchange ideas with your company, thereby deepening our collaboration.”

Director Liu Jiaguo stated: “The news that BioAlly has established an award specifically for clinical veterinarians is deeply gratifying and highly encouraging for clinicians. BioAlly’s decision to support the creation of this award demonstrates its keen and insightful vision. Nanjing Agricultural University Pet Hospital enjoys considerable influence nationwide and continues to develop in a healthy and sustainable manner. We also warmly welcome BioAlly to extend its support to the training of veterinary students, thereby cultivating a larger pool of future talent.”

Dean Zhao Yanbing stated: “Our hospital serves as both an internship base for students majoring in Veterinary Medicine at Nanjing Agricultural University and a continuing education center for our professional peers. On average each year, we host approximately 180 undergraduate students and about 40 master’s and doctoral candidates for specialized training, in addition to welcoming faculty members and veterinarians from other institutions for advanced study and professional development. To meet increasingly stringent requirements and challenges and to continuously enhance our technical expertise, the hospital has established partnerships with renowned veterinary schools abroad to conduct collaborative training programs and to adopt new technologies and concepts.”
BioAlly is a high-tech enterprise specializing in the R&D, production, and sales of innovative veterinary pharmaceuticals. The company boasts several industry-leading products, including the world’s first canine serum albumin and one of the first feline trivalent vaccines to enter the Chinese market, earning it an excellent reputation within the industry. Furthermore, the “BioAlly” Award for Outstanding Young Veterinarians, established with the company’s support, has been inspiring the rapid professional growth of many talented young veterinarians for over a decade.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to BioAlly Company for establishing the “BioAlly” Award for Outstanding Clinical Teachers and Clinicians specifically for our institute. Guided by the principles of “complementary strengths, resource sharing, mutual benefit, and common development,” we will work together to advance innovation and progress in the field of veterinary medicine. We are confident that, through our joint efforts, we will be able to deliver greater value to society, the industry, and enterprises.

Dean Zhao Yanbing, on behalf of the Teaching Animal Hospital of Nanjing Agricultural University, presented a certificate of donation to Taizhou BioAlly Biotechnology Co., Ltd.

Chairman Wang Hongwei stated: “I was deeply moved by the remarks of all the leaders. Nanjing Agricultural University has long been a dream institution for many students, including myself. Veterinary medicine is a truly noble profession, and companion animal veterinarians play a vital role in enhancing people’s well-being. Rooted in the industry, BioAlly established the Outstanding Veterinarian Award at its inception, and over the past decade-plus has honored nearly one thousand outstanding veterinarians. The original intention behind establishing the BioAlly Award at Nanjing Agricultural University was to foster the continued growth and development of the veterinary profession. Major universities across the country, with Nanjing Agricultural University as a prime example, have made significant contributions to the advancement of the veterinary field and to the cultivation of talent. However, to date, there remains a notable lack of sustained corporate support and collaboration with leading agricultural universities—yet education and talent development are crucial for the ongoing progress of the industry.”
BioAlly was founded on research and development, aiming to meet the industry’s demand for innovative products and to become a leading, influential player in the pet healthcare sector—both domestically and globally—through high-quality, cutting-edge offerings. Collaborations between academia and industry can drive progress in multiple areas, including new-product R&D, clinical trials, and new-drug registration. We hope this partnership will contribute modestly to talent cultivation at Nanjing Agricultural University. Finally, we extend a warm invitation to all leaders and veterinary colleagues to visit the BioAlly Industrial Base in Taizhou to provide guidance and support.
